Longitudinal-cutting jig for a Bandsaw

This interactive Sketchup 3D-drawing of the jig shows how the Axminster bar clamp is integrated with the wooden components. In particular it shows how the sliding arm of the clamp can be adjusted to accommodate varying lengths of the timber to be sliced.

HOW TO USE THE NAVIGATION BUTTONS (in the drawing, above)

Once the model is displayed, reveal the NAVIGATION BUTTONS by clicking once on the activate activate menu button half way down on the right hand side of the drawing. The function of each button is described below. When you have finished viewing, CLICK HERE to return to the main page.

GENERAL

Full Screen It is recommended to view the model full screen by clicking the FULL SCREEN button located in the bottom right hand corner of the drawing. Back to top of page.

With the mouse pointer positioned anywhere on the drawing, rotate your mouse wheel (if present) towards you to zoom out, or in the opposite direction to zoom in.

Hover/orbit Left click the HOVER/ORBIT button once, then hold down left mouse button and move the mouse over the drawing to orbit round it. Back to top of page.
Pan left, right, up & down Left click the PAN button once, then hold down left mouse button and move the mouse over drawing in desired direction to pan up, down, left or right. Back to top of page.
Zoom in/out Left click the ZOOM IN/ZOOM OUT button once, then hold down left mouse button and move the mouse over drawing towards the top to zoom in, & towards the bottom to zoom out. Back to top of page.
Immediately Zoom out. Left click the ZOOM OUT button once, which will immediately zoom out of the drawing. Back to top of page.
