My Dear Pettigrew

I have spoken to your brother [Hugh Allan Pettigrew] as frankly and plainly as possible on the lines I indicated to you this morning. He is expecting you to communicate with him. I also said that you would probably be coming out to see him to discuss with him where you are to go the day after the Hewell Bowls

match. I shall expect to hear from you how he is getting on during the course of your holiday - furthermore, if there is [?] anything about your brother which you want to tell me, please do not hesitate to do so or consult me. I shall have a talk to Mrs Pettigrew [Alice Southwell Pettigrew] this evening.

Yours very sincerely

Plymouth
