Pettigrew Thank you very much for the photographs you sent me. I think the one of Lord Windsor [Robert George Windsor-Clive] in hunting dress is quite excellent. I also like the S. African one riding tho the face is unfortunately

rather dark, would it come out any lighter if it was reproduced the original size if so will you do half a dozen & send them unmounted to see. I will write later about the others. I am sending you two of when he was small, could you do me half a dozen of

the one standing alone (unmounted) & could you take out Lady Phyllis in the other one as I don't like it of her. You might make it a round shape something like I have drawn. I hope the boys [Archer & Ivor Miles Windsor-Clive] arrived safely & are well.
