Letter from Alberta Victoria Sarah Caroline Windsor-Clive to Andrew Alexander Pettigrew, 27 September 1912

Cean na Croc,
Dalchreichart,
Inverness

Sep 27. 12

Pettigrew, I was very glad to hear from Mr Dickins that Mr Davies will take an interest in the Boy Scouts & I think the best thing will be to have a meeting to start it but I'm afraid I can't fix a date for it at present as I should like either His Lordship or Lt. Windsor [Archer Windsor-Clive?] to be there

to speak to the boys & they do not at present know what their appointments are in Oct[ober]. I think I shall be able to get one of them between the middle & end of the month. I am glad you have had better weather & I shall hope to see some of the garden still bright when I return. Here we have had

beautiful weather for the last fortnight & the sport has been very good. I am leaving for London on Thursday

Yours faithfully
