Although both parents named, they were not married and the birth was Illigitimate. Living with his mother and three siblings in the 1841 Census.

In the 1851 Census Alexander is living with his Grandmother (Elizabeth), Uncle (Alexander Pettigrew) and Aunt (Mary Pettigrew), in Content Street.

In the 1861 Census Alexander Park is living with his sister Elizabeth Lauder at 13 Content Street. Occupation of Mason, that of his convicted brother in law Thomas Lauder.

Married Margaret Reid on the 31 DEC 1863 in Ayr.

Family (no children) listed in the 1871 Census living at Govan in Lanarkshire (record not examined). No attempt made to trace family in later Census records.
