She is writing from Salisbury, to thank Andrew for his last letter which included a reference to Lord Windsor [Robert George Windsor-Clive] making a speech. She makes reference to heavy rain and the imminent return of the family with 'W-Archer' [her son, Archer Windsor-Clive].
