Mrs Pettigrew

I hope you and Pettigrew [Hugh Allan Pettigrew] will like Mr Sheppard as I recommended him. Sir Ralph [Sir Ralph Spencer Paget] & I know his sister very well & she is a very nice woman & as fond of animals as we all are.

Pettigrew has told me what there was to pay for the Privets (which are now all planted & doing well[)] & if the Rabbit season is over would Pettigrew thank from me gentleman who let me have them - they are a great help to me as those from Gloucester are skeletons. You cannot imagine how beautiful & altogether fe-

--- Theodore is - he is simply huge & so gentle. Have you seen in the papers that there is to be a national enquiry about Asthma as there is so much of it in England & no real remedy has yet been found, I hope Agnes does not suffer.

Lady Plymouth, Lady Phyllis & the baby (Melissa) are all at Hewell but they all have colds - Do you know who the very rich Decorator from Cardiff is who has taken on --- place (Westbury) near here? I think his name is ----. I must end - post going - I hope to go to St Fagans this coming summer.
