Pettigrew I am writing this line to say that I shall have to send you both Polly & Freia in a day or two - it may be tomorrow or next day but I will telegraph in the morning. Will you see that they go out for a little in
[sheet 1, page 2]
the morning & for a walk in the afternoon. Either in the enclosure or in the park & will you or Mrs Pettigrew keep them as much as possible with you as poor little Polly is getting old now & will feel being away from me as she is used to being with me always, but it is quite impossible
[sheet 1, page 3]
for me to keep her here with all the other dogs. Will you let me know the moment they are alright again. I will send a basket for Polly as she will be happier sleeping in that.
I hope you are all well. Your brother told me you had settled to have the Scout Demonstration in April. I shall not be back from abroad till quite the end of that month.
Yours faithfully
A[lberta] Plymouth

I hope it will not be inconvenient for you to have Freia & Polly. Will you give them a little milk & warm water at tea time as they are used to that.
