St. Fagans

Dear Father

Just a line. I have had a look round with Mr Meredith. He has been very nice. We are going to have a more detailed look round tomorrow. He is gone into

Cardiff this afternoon. I am writing this in the fruit room where there is a good desk and all writing necessities. There is a huge pile of catalogues etc. etc. awaiting me here. Mr Meredith thought wisely it was unessential to forward them to the Castle Gardens. What do you think of the writing paper? I can't

find any stamped envelopes but will ask Mr M. about them tomorrow.

The foreman has left - got a head[?] place or something. I am glad of it. I think I will be very comfortable in the Plymouth Arms [a hotel in St. Fagans].

If all is well I will take a run in tomorrow night.
