Biographical notes

It appears that Elizabeth was the second child of James Pettigrew and Mary Edgar. In the 1841 Census, Elizabeth is living with her father and stepmother Agnes Pettigrew (nee Kennedy), married in 1839, in Content Street. She subsequently married James Brovan in 1853 and in the 1871 Census, the Brovan family is living in Content Street.
