Biographical notes

There are no obvious antecedants for Anne and all the available information comes from the OPR entry for her marriage to Wallace Allan, We also know that she died sometime after the birth of her last child, Jean Allan, in 1826, and before Wallace Allan's second marriage to Mary Logie in 1831.

According to a family history document made by Wallace Allan (1848-1931), written in 1930, Anne's sister Janet Anderson married Daniel Buchanan, brother of James Buchanan who married Jean Allan (1781-1869).
