Biographical notes

Parents recorded in OPR as John Kennedy and Ann Wilson. However, later records (1841, 1851 and 1861 Census returns) consistently give a date of birth of 1816 and place of birth as Tarbolton. Looks as if this Mary may have died in infancy and the parents gave a later child the same name.
