Biographical notes

Christening recorded in the Selworthy Parish registers; Abraham Long [son of] John and Frances [father's occupation] Labourer [christened] 8 Dec 1819. Listed with his parents in the 1841 Census. Moved to St Fagans and married Ann Barton in 1847. Thereafter the couple recorded in 1851 and successive Glamorgan census returns until 1891.
