Biographical notes

As well as the BMD birth register, a reference on the LDS website records the baptism of Thomas in the St Woollos parish register with the parents recorded as Thomas Brookman and Charlotte. In the same entry the date of death is recorded and this is on the same index page as Thomas's mother, Charlotte, on the BMD index of deaths. It seems likely (without checking the register entry), that Charlotte died in childbirth.
