Biographical notes

Jane's birth is recorded in the St Quivox Parish register but does not appear with the rest of the family in the 1841 and subsequent Census returns. The inference is that she died before reaching the age of 2. The name Jane was given to William and Elizabeth's last child child born in 1851.
