Letter written in ink on one folded sheet, dated 3 May 1910, from Alberta Victoria Caroline Windsor-Clive, Countess of Plymouth, to Hugh Allan Pettigrew. She is writing from Bordighera, Italy and suggests that a Bay, Umbellularia californica, she has recently seen at Kew Gardens would be a good addition to the St Fagans Castle plant collection. Also describes a blue flowering plant she has seen in Italy which she thinks may be Echium plantagineum as another possibility for the garden.
