Letter written in ink on one folded sheet, dated 16 September 1911, from Alberta Victoria Sarah Caroline Windsor-Clive, Countess of Plymouth, to Andrew Alexander Pettigrew. She is writing from Dalchreichart, Inverness in response to a letter sent by Andrew. Her letter relates to matters at the Plymouth family home at Hewell Grange and advises Andrew to postpone orchard planting to the following year to save money. Likewise the project to build a swimming bath is postponed on account of cost. Finally, she comments that Lord Plymouth in the company of 'Young Gentlemen' has been having 'very good sport'. She thanks Andrew for sending carnations.
