Biographical notes

First child apparently born before Ann and Isaac were married or else a child from a previous marriage (Isaac described as a widower on his marriage certificate to Ann Evans). Probably named William Evans on the birth register (need to see this to confirm name and parentage). Not traced with certainty in the 1841 Census (not living with either Ann Evans (Mother) or Isaac Hill (Father), but living with them in 1851 Census.

Not traced in 1861 or subsequent Census records. May have emigrated or died. Two possible death entries for William Hill in the BMD registers for Wandsworth (Covers Tooting where the family were living); 1857 April-June Wandsworth 1d 229 and 1860 April-June Wandsworth 1d 259. Neither entry examined.
