Biographical notes

Apparently named Frederick Henry in the birth register (not examined), but known only by his first name thereafter. Living with the rest of the family up to 1871, when the family are living on the Poles Estate at Thundridge, Hertfordshire. He has not been traced in the 1881 Census but in the 1891 Census he is possibly recorded living at 33 Rednall Terrace in Hammersmith, London lodging with the Durtnall Family; Frederick Hill, Lodger, Married, 46, Florist, Surrey Tooting.

This leaves a lot of un-answered questions relating to the identity of his wife and why they were not living together. No further records have been traced.
