I am grateful to Brenda Crowcroft (dec 2008) for the following information about Sarah:

quote : I have Sarah Dawe born 23 Sep 1815 married James Gannicott 30th July 1846 in Taunton. James had previously been married to his cousin Ann Cannicott. The children of the marriage that I have are Charles William b 3/04/1847, Sarah Ann b 1849, Anna Maria b.1851, Emily b. 1854 and William Edward born 4/8/1858. James died in 1861 and Sarah in 1866. There were a number of children from the first marriage also. I have got a copy of the marriage cert of James and Sarah. Sarah's details are Sarah Dawe, spinster aged 32 of Wellington Terrace, Bishops Hull, daughter of James Dawe, Mason. The mariage was witnessed by John Edwards and Mary Board. Sarah's birth place is given as Trull so she and Hannah must have been sisters.
